Cardiovascular Check

… for the early detection of heart disease

A cardiac check-up is essential for identifying possible conditions early and treating them in time. Especially with unexplained chest discomfort or persistent fatigue, a check with a cardiologist can provide clarity. State-of-the-art diagnostic methods such as cardiac CT or cardiac MRI are used to rule out impaired blood flow to the heart muscle or inflammation of the heart muscle.

Our cardiology check-up offers ways to help prevent heart attack, arteriosclerosis, and other cardiovascular diseases — actively contributing to the prevention of chronic illness and securing a healthy cardiovascular system for the long term.

The cardiovascular check at Medinstitut is a comprehensive examination of the cardiovascular system. The goal is to identify and help prevent conditions such as coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, or heart failure at an early stage.

Our cardiology check-up is especially recommended if you experience unexplained chest pain, fatigue, or reduced performance. A cardiac screening can also be useful after a COVID infection or a respiratory infection.

Most of the cardiovascular check is usually carried out at Medinstitut Berlin within six hours on a single day.

The following day, you return the long-term monitoring devices and have your final consultation.

Typical examinations include a resting and exercise ECG, an ultrasound examination of the heart, and, if needed, a cardiac CT or cardiac MRI to rule out impaired blood flow or inflammation. You'll find a more detailed list further up this page.

The exact price of the check-up depends on the examinations performed, but a rough guide is around €1,800, excluding optional add-on services. Please note that these services are not covered by statutory health insurance, and private health insurers may also only cover part of the cost.
