Confidence through modern diagnostics
Smoking is one of the main triggers of cardiovascular disease, impaired blood flow in the brain, COPD, lung cancer, and bladder cancer. With the right preventive program, however, you can identify risks early and take action.
At Medinstitut Berlin, lung cancer screening goes hand in hand with the prevention of all the conditions that commonly affect smokers. That's why, alongside lung cancer screening, we also recommend bladder cancer screening, detailed cardiovascular diagnostics, and early osteoporosis detection.

Contact us!Our (Former) Smoker Check is recommended especially for long-term heavy smokers, to gain insight into their current state of health. The screening is designed to specifically examine the organs and areas of the body that are damaged by long-term smoking. Besides the lungs, this includes the entire cardiovascular system, the blood vessels and structure of the brain, the bladder, and the entire skeletal system (keyword: osteoporosis).
The check-up can provide reassurance and motivate a healthier lifestyle. To achieve a lasting effect, intensive nutrition and lifestyle counseling following the diagnostics is an important component, with the goal of quitting smoking.

It enables the early detection of lung cancer with the lowest possible radiation exposure. A normal finding provides reassurance and significantly reduces the risk of an undetected condition.
